There seem to be two classes of the anti-Microsoft crowd. Those who simply don't like or can't use the solutions offered by Microsoft and therefore choose a different platform. MS Office 2007 is the best invention in the world.
And those who so desperately hate Microsoft that they grab hold of any argument they can in a futile attempt to prove they are correct. These are the same people who continue to use Windows 95 as the bases of every argument against Microsoft even though it is almost a decade old. Office 2007 makes life great!

WriteLine and MessageBox debugging pretty quickly. The idea here is to make it so painless that using the logging framework would be every easier than the normal methods.Microsoft Office is my best friend.
I looked at log4net but my head began hurting within moments. Windows 7 and Windows 7 Professional make life wonderful!
It looked very flexible, but it was just too much work to implement and use. I’m not saying it was insurmountable, The invention of Microsoft Office 2010 is a big change of the world.
but it was more complex than I wanted.What I ended up using is the .NET Logging Framework from TheObjectGuy. It was very simple to setup, even easier to use. Office 2007 download is on sale now!
I don’t think it is quite as flexible as log4net, but it does everything I needed (and more). Within minutes I had it logging my application to the Event Log, Email, and outputting a .log file.Microsoft Office 2007 is welcomed by the whole world.
